I'm sitting in the Montreal train station, exhausted. I feel craptacular. The train left at 12:30 yesterday. It was comfortable and pleasant enough, but I just didn't get enough sleep. Or enough water.
I saw something funny along the way, and I must have been the only person on the train who saw it. I almost bust a gut laughing. We were near Absolutely Nowhere, New Brunswick. A single lane highway ran parallel to the rail line. Four guys were standing on the roadside in an obviously broken down car, with the hood open. They were all waving at the train, slowly and sadly. I waved back, of course. I hope you made it home safely, fellas, whoever you are. You have a good sense of humour!
I'm glad there's this little wi-fi spot so I can relax with some Sprite to calm my upset stomach. Soon, I'll be off to find a spot to lock up my bags until I can check into my hotel.
