My husband is a great train enthusiast and enjoys reading one of his almost two hundred books on trains and train stations. For him, this trip was the one he had looked forward to his whole life, to take and experience. Reading about the train and the train excursion is one thing. Experiencing the actual train ride is something you can never get from a book.
From our train trip, we have gained a new respect for the people who founded this country and we realize how lucky we are as Canadians to live here. Travelling to other countries is always a treat however I firmly believe everyone should experience the beauty and uniqueness of all our provinces.
We highly recommend this train ride from Toronto to Vancouver or Vancouver to Toronto and we are looking forward to taking the “Ocean” train from Montreal to Halifax next spring.
