Off we go to Windsor, ON, for the Tour de Via Italia Bike Race. We decided not to drive the boring 401 and to keep with my travel practices of not touching a steering wheel on my holidays, we departed Aldershot, ON station en route to Windsor. We found the service and environment on economy to be excellent. We arrived at the Windsor station relaxed and refreshed, and cabs waiting at the station. We enjoyed the sounds of bicycles swooshing by and enjoyed the circuit without the sounds of cars. On our return trip we experienced VIA 1 travel with excellent service in a completely relaxing mode which gave us the opportunity to catch up on our reading and scenery watching. We are glad we made VIA part of our travels.
